Core Tip |
This study demonstrates the diagnostic superiority of transabdominal superficial ultrasonography (TASU) in identifying acute appendicitis compared to conventional ultrasonography. TASU accurately detected various types of appendicitis, including simple, suppurative, and gangrenous, based on key imaging signs such as appendix enlargement, occlusion, and cystic masses. The findings highlight TASU’s enhanced diagnostic efficiency, making it a valuable tool for accurate and early diagnosis of appendicitis, which can improve patient outcomes. |
