Core Tip This study first revealed an association between altered bile acid (BA) profiles and diabetic gastrointestinal autonomic neuropathy (DGAN). Combining BA profiling with conventional clinical data could facilitate the early identification of DGAN and offer new insights into early screening and BA-targeted interventions.
