| Core Tip |
The following study focuses on the identification of therapeutic properties of the aqueous extracts of Tinospora cordifolia stem and Senna siamea pods and leaf in leukemia cell lines. Both plants are found to contain therapeutic properties and are also found to be a potential treatment for myeloid leukemia due to an induction of apoptosis by an increase in reactive oxygen species activity, which causes a reduction in mitochondrial membrane potential. The following study was carried out in vitro and needs further in vivo and clinical study to come to a conclusion. |
