| Core Tip |
Proactive hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/HCV co-infected patients may contribute to improved long-term prognosis. With optimal HIV/HCV treatment regimens, hepatocellular carcinoma occurrence and mortality risks in co-infected patients have become comparable to those in patients with HCV mono-infection. |
