| Core Tip |
The global incidence of gastrointestinal tumors is rising, and postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction remains prevalent, severely impeding recovery. This study aimed to construct a risk prediction model for this complication and explore preventive management strategies. Using data from 176 patients, seven independent risk factors—such as age, tumor stage, and operative duration—were identified. The model demonstrated high predictive accuracy, with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.895. Preventive measures based on the model significantly reduced dysfunction incidence, offering a scientific basis for clinical practice. |
