| Core Tip |
This study identifies both Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) as independent risk factors for colorectal adenoma. No interaction was found between them, but MASLD mediated the infection-adenoma risk relationship. These results support enhanced screening for colorectal adenoma in individuals with H. pylori infection and MASLD. |
