Key Words Guanxinning; Antipsychotic drugs; Cardiac function; Protective role; Clinical implications
Core Tip Antipsychotic drug therapy carries significant cardiovascular toxicity; however, existing protective strategies remain inadequate. The traditional Chinese medicine “Guanxinning” enhances patient quality of life and safety in combination with Western medicine. This study highlights the innovative value of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in addressing drug-induced cardiac toxicity, and recommends the incorporation of traditional Chinese medicine into comprehensive treatment regimens.
