Core Tip Takotsubo syndrome epitomizes neurocardiology: Acute sympathetic surges, central autonomic imbalance, and inflammatory activation converge to produce reversible myocardial dysfunction. Evidence from a large international takotsubo registry shows that neurological disorders identify a high-risk subgroup with increased early and late mortality. Integrating takotsubo syndrome into the emerging neurocardiology framework may enhance risk stratification, early recognition of vulnerable phenotypes, and coordinated care between neurologists and cardiologists.
