The use of combination of low dose tacrolimus and everolimus is not common in kidney transplant recipients. We show in our study that the combination therapy with everolimus (low dose) + tacrolimus (Tac) (low dose) as compared to mycophenolate mofetil + Tac is found to be superior in terms of lower incidence of side effects and stable serum creatinine levels over long-term follow-up. |
