| Core Tip |
In geriatric cancer patients, locomotive syndrome and mild cognitive impairment create a vicious cycle driven by inflammation and psychological distress. Conventional rehabilitation often suffers from low adherence due to fatigue. “Embodied spirituality“, exemplified by rituals like Salah, offers a unique solution by combining physical mobilization (range of motion exercises) with neurocognitive activation (prefrontal cortex stimulation). Clinicians should consider these existing spiritual routines as valuable, complementary therapeutic resources. |
