Core Tip	Endoscopic transparent caps (ETC) may facilitate hemostasis in non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding (NVUGIB) by improving visualization and scope tip stability. Recent evidence, including a multi-centre retrospective study, suggests ETC-assisted endoscopy may improve procedural efficiency and reduce transfusion requirements. Given their simplicity, low cost, and widespread availability, ETC represent a practical adjunct during endoscopic hemostasis for NVUGIB. However, further well-designed studies are needed to clarify their optimal use and clinical impact.
