Core Tip Brachytherapy is a viable alternative to external beam radiotherapy for pediatric sarcomas of the extremities with acceptable functional results. However, it does not eliminate growth complications, and the ongoing skeletal growth of the patient poses challenges in securing the best possible functional outcomes. Closer cooperation with the oncological late effects clinics and ongoing evaluation with pediatric orthopedic surgeons is advised.
