Core Tip This retrospective study evaluated the clinical efficacy and safety of omeprazole (OME) combined with cisapride in patients with gastroparesis following radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer. The combination regimen was more effective than OME alone without increasing the overall incidence of adverse reactions. It also demonstrated clinical advantages in promoting symptom relief, accelerating gastrointestinal function recovery, and actively regulating gastrointestinal hormones. Patients with stage IIB-III disease, baseline motilin < 309 mg/L, and treatment with OME alone were at increased risk of treatment inefficacy.
