| Core Tip |
Sleep disturbances and psychological distress are common after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, particularly during the early postoperative period. This study showed that poor sleep, anxiety, depression, and fear of movement changed over time and were closely associated with functional recovery. Patients with poorer psychosocial status at 3 months were more likely to have poor knee function at 12 months. Simple screening tools may help identify high-risk patients early and guide targeted rehabilitation strategies. |
