| Core Tip |
Identifying risk factors in kidney transplantation is essential for guiding interventions to improve patient and graft survival. Advanced analytical approaches, such as propensity score matching (PSM), enhance the accuracy of risk factor identification in observational cohort studies. In this study, PSM analysis revealed that grafts with multiple arteries were associated with increased risk, likely due to prolonged ischemia time. In contrast, donor type was no longer a significant predictor after adjustment. These findings highlight the value of PSM in reducing confounding and refining the identification of clinically relevant risk factors. |
