Core Tip	This study investigated the impact of cognitive behavioral intervention (CBI) on depressive symptom severity, remission rate, and incidence of depressive disorders among patients following cervical cancer surgery. After the CBI, the observation group exhibited significantly lower depression symptom scores and incidence of depressive disorders than the control group (P < 0.05), as well as better depression symptom remission rate, quality of life score, and treatment compliance (P < 0.05). These results support the effectiveness of CBI in patients after cervical cancer surgery.
