Core Tip	This study focused on women who have experienced their first in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer failure, susceptible to an acute psychological crisis. It revealed high anxiety-depression comorbidity with bidirectional prediction (novel correlations with clinical parameters (drug dosage, r = 0.807; cost, r = 0.598) and identification of modifiable protective factors (social and family support) provide evidence for developing targeted screening and early interventions.
