Focusing on patients with lumbar disk herniation (LDH) who underwent percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy (PTED), this study verifies the efficacy and influence of comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine therapy-combined psychological intervention (PI) on postoperative recurrence (POR). This integrated approach is confirmed to render more significant clinical advantages for such patients, with higher curative effects and no significant elevation in overall complication risk. This combined scheme also actively promotes symptom relief and functional recovery, helps alleviate pain and negative emotions, and is associated with lower POR and reoperation rates. In addition, patients with protrusion-type LDH, those with severe degeneration, and individuals receiving only PTED-postoperative PI may be accompanied by higher POR risk. |
