Core Tip Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) NUSAP1 was significantly upregulated in colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and cell lines and was closely associated with larger tumor size, higher grade, advanced tumor-node-metastasis stage, and lymph node metastasis. Its expression showed strong positive correlations with serum carcinoembryonic antigen and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 levels and demonstrated good diagnostic performance for CRC (area under the curve: 0.849; sensitivity: 93.66%, specificity: 72.54%). Functional assays revealed that lncRNA NUSAP1 promotes tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion while inhibiting apoptosis. These findings suggest lncRNA NUSAP1 acts as an oncogenic regulator and may serve as a potential diagnostic biomarker for CRC.
