| Core Tip |
Gastric volvulus is a rare abdominal disorder. Severe cases may be life-threatening if treatment is delayed. There have been relatively few published reports on this condition in the past. In recent years, the number of diagnosed cases has gradually increased alongside advances in medical imaging. This case confirms that laparoscopic reduction and fixation are safe and effective for treating chronic gastric volvulus. Early combined imaging examinations facilitate a definite diagnosis, and minimally invasive surgery achieves favorable clinical outcomes and rapid patient recovery. |
