Core Tip Point-of-care ultrasound offers real-time bedside hemodynamic assessment, but isolated interpretation of ultrasound findings may lead to diagnostic and therapeutic errors. Parameters such as inferior vena cava size, B-lines, left ventricular outflow tract velocity time integral, and venous excess ultrasound should be interpreted within the broader physiologic and clinical context rather than as direct surrogates for volume status. Technical proficiency, physiologic understanding, and structured training are essential to avoid oversimplification and improve clinical decision-making.
