Core Tip	Oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity (OIPN) is the main dose-limiting side effect of oxaliplatin, disrupting chemotherapy and patients’ quality of life. This review establishes an acute-chronic stratified three-stage integrated Chinese-Western medicine prevention system with scenario-specific combined regimens and synergistic molecular mechanisms. Integrative therapy combines Western targeted neuroprotection and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation, overcoming the defects of monotherapy to mitigate OIPN. It also summarizes diagnosis and pathogenesis progress and proposes future research orientations.
