Core Tip This article reports a middle-aged female patient with a rectal granular cell tumor (GCT) detected during colonoscopy, who had no remarkable medical or family history. The preliminary biopsy was nondiagnostic, whereas endoscopic resection followed by histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis. We also review the literature and discuss the diagnosis, clinical and pathological features, and management of rectal GCT.
