Core Tip	This prospective study confirms that transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation effectively promotes gastrointestinal function recovery after laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, shortening flatus/defecation time and hospital stay, reducing early postoperative nausea, vomiting and pain, improving sleep quality with good safety, providing a non-invasive rehabilitation strategy for patients in Hainan.
