| Core Tip |
This real-world cohort study of 242 patients with chronic schizophrenia evaluates whether cognitive remediation training (CRT) provides additional benefits beyond routine care that already includes standardized traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The findings suggest that adding CRT to TCM-containing routine care was associated with greater improvements in multiple cognitive domains, psychiatric symptoms, and functional outcomes; however, because both groups received TCM, the independent and additive contributions of CRT and TCM could not be disentangled in this real-world integrative treatment setting. |
