Key Words Acute angle-closure glaucoma; Early postoperative high intraocular pressure; Depression; Psychosomatic medicine; Anxiety status
Core Tip For the first time, this study incorporates both ophthalmic metrics and preoperative anxiety levels into a nomogram to forecast early intraocular hypertension after acute angle-closure glaucoma surgery. The model validates psychological distress as an independent risk factor, and its clinical utility lies in delivering a novel psychosomatic scoring system for individualized risk profiling and evidence-based perioperative decision-making.
