| Core Tip |
Standardized therapeutic regimens for postoperative gastroparesis syndrome are essential for enhancing recovery after abdominal surgery within Enhanced Recovery After Surgery protocols. Electroacupuncture at ST36 was associated with greater improvement in gastrointestinal dysfunction and a shorter duration of gastrointestinal decompression compared with metoclopramide or omeprazole monotherapy. Combined therapy was also associated with more favorable clinical outcomes. These observational findings provide a basis for further research aimed at optimizing rehabilitation strategies for postoperative gastroparesis syndrome. |
