| Core Tip |
The purpose of the study was to assess which reversal agent, four-factor prothrombin complex concentrate or andexanet alfa, had a better effect on expansion of intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) in patients who received direct oral anticoagulants. Andexanet alfa was found to have better effect on expansion of ICH (25.5% vs 41.2%, P = 0.226), however statistically found no difference. Larger sample size studies are needed to determine which reversal agent has better efficacy in preventing expansion of traumatic ICH. |
