| Core Tip |
This study identifies HN1 L as an oncogenic regulator in colorectal cancer (CRC). Integrated transcriptomic, cellular, xenograft, and clinical analyses demonstrate that HN1 L enhances CRC proliferation and migration by inhibiting Hippo pathway activity, primarily through reduced MOB1 and YAP phosphorylation. Clinically, high HN1 L expression was associated with poorer five-year overall survival, while an exploratory interaction analysis suggested a possible difference in adjuvant chemotherapy benefit according to HN1 L expression. These findings suggest that HN1 L may function as a chemotherapy-response indicator and a potential therapeutic target in CRC. |
