Core Tip Tanyu Tongzhi decoction exerts lipid-lowering and hepatoprotective effects in hyperlipidemic rats. Using single-cell sequencing and targeted lipid metabolomics, this work reveals that Tanyu Tongzhi decoction remodels crosstalk between liver cholangiocytes and endothelial cells, restrains inflammation and lipotoxic injury, and modulates fluid shear stress as well as complement-coagulation cascades. Liver-distributed active ingredients form stable complexes with interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha to achieve multi-target therapeutic efficacy.
