Key Words Psychological intervention; Hysterectomy; Anxiety; Depression; Retrospective cohort study
Core Tip This single-center, retrospective, nonrandomized controlled cohort study focused on patients who underwent total hysterectomy for benign gynecological diseases. Through systematic assessment of pelvic floor symptom distress, psychological stress, oxidative stress, quality of life, and adverse reactions, the study found that single-port transvaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery combined with psychological intervention was significantly associated with improved pelvic floor symptom distress, reduced psychological stress and oxidative stress, and better quality of life. These findings offer new insights for optimizing clinical practice for this patient population.
