Core Tip Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is characterized by gastrointestinal hamartomatous polyps that can cause intussusception, bowel obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, anemia, and repeated surgery. This article summarizes current evidence on the mechanisms, clinical manifestations, surveillance, and management of polyp-related complications. Particular emphasis is placed on balloon-assisted enteroscopy, endoscopic polypectomy, ischemic polypectomy, and bowel-preserving strategies. Early surveillance and timely removal of clinically significant polyps may reduce acute complications and preserve intestinal length. Emerging pharmacological approaches remain investigational, highlighting the need for prospective multicenter studies and individualized surveillance strategies.
