Key Words Extramammary Paget disease; Ultrasonography; High-frequency ultrasound; Contrast-enhanced ultrasound; Lymph node assessment
Core Tip Extramammary Paget disease is a rare cutaneous adenocarcinoma that is often diagnosed late because of its nonspecific clinical presentation. Ultrasound (US) provides noninvasive and complementary information for lesion characterization, local invasion, regional lymph node assessment, and treatment monitoring. Conventional US, contrast-enhanced US, and high-frequency US offer distinct structural and functional information. Future studies should establish standardized imaging criteria and validate quantitative US parameters to improve clinical decision-making.
