Key Words Hepatic encephalopathy; Indocyanine green-R15; Child-Pugh score; Model for end-stage liver disease score; Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt; Portal hypertention
Core Tip We studied whether the indocyanine green (ICG)-R15 can be used for prediction of post-transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) hepatic encephalopathy (HE) in decompensated cirrhosis patients with portal hypertension (PHT) and compare the ICG-R15, Child-Pugh score and model for end-stage liver disease score clinical value in predicting post-TIPS HE with PHT.
