Core Tip Drastic lifestyle changes during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic have led to an increase in the incidence of liver disease. Liver damage in COVID-19 infection occurs during disease progression in patients with or without previous liver disorders and represents a risk factor for developing severe illness and death.
