Core Tip	This study explores the impact of the labor-delivery-recovery-postpartum (LDRP) family-centered obstetrics unit combined with painless delivery on postpartum depression (PPD) in primiparas. Results indicate that the control group (LDRP + painless delivery) experienced significantly shorter labor, higher comfort levels, and lower rates of PPD compared to the conventional care group. Additionally, factors such as gestational complications, lack of family support, and nursing dissatisfaction were identified as independent risk factors for PPD. These findings suggest that LDRP and painless delivery can significantly reduce PPD while ensuring maternal and neonatal safety.
