Core Tip This case series demonstrates that decompensated cirrhosis, traditionally considered irreversible, can be reversed - both clinically and histologically - through a combination of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt to alleviate portal hypertension and sustained antiviral therapy to control the underlying etiology.
