| Core Tip |
Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats Cas 9 system has become one of the most widely used tools in cancer therapy. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) makes this process more accurate and efficient by designing accurate guide RNAs, predicting unintended edits, and analyzing large genomic datasets. Interestingly, the integration of AI with next-generation tools such as base and prime editing allows more controlled and safer genetic modifications. This is particularly useful for the development of personalized cancer treatments by targeting patient-specific mutations. Despite challenges related to data quality and ethical concerns, AI-assisted genome editing holds strong potential for advancing personalized cancer treatment. |
