Core Tip	In this retrospective cohort study of patients with clinically suspected alcohol-associated hepatitis, higher admission triglyceride levels were associated with lower disease severity and reduced 28-day, 90-day, and 180-day mortality independent of model for end-stage liver diseases score. These findings suggest that triglycerides may represent an inexpensive and widely available biomarker for early risk stratification in alcohol-associated hepatitis patients.
