Core Tip	This retrospective study evaluated continuous preoperative-to-postoperative psychological nursing among patients undergoing digestive cancer surgery. Compared with routine care, this model was associated with lower 3-month anxiety-depression comorbidity and greater longitudinal improvement in Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Sleep Latency, Sleep Efficiency, Pain Catastrophizing Scale, Numerical Rating Scale, selected Short-Form 36 Item Health Survey domains, and social-support outcomes after multiplicity correction. The findings support further prospective evaluation while acknowledging residual confounding and the short follow-up period.
