Key Words Colorectal cancer; Anastomotic leakage; Risk factors; Predictive model; Nursing early warning
Core Tip This study identified independent risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, including male sex, higher body mass index, low tumor location, advanced tumor stage, preoperative malnutrition, absence of a prophylactic stoma, and prolonged operative time. A nursing early-warning model incorporating these factors showed good predictive performance and may help clinicians identify patients at high risk, implement individualized nursing interventions, and improve postoperative management and outcomes.
