Core Tip Gastrointestinal bleeding can be challenging to treat even in the most experienced hands. The modalities available to gastroenterologists for achieving hemostasis have expanded over the years, and this area continues to evolve. Hemostatic powders are one such valuable innovation; they have become widely popular and are often used. However, awareness of unique risks, such as failure to withdraw the endoscope because of mucosal adherence, and knowledge of how to prevent and overcome this challenge are crucial to continued use.
