| Core Tip |
This single-center retrospective cohort study included 254 patients with grade II-III internal hemorrhoids, who were treated with endoscopic multiband rubber band ligation, and the follow-up extended up to 18 months. Grade II patients gained better efficacy and lower recurrence. Grade III patients had more postoperative discomfort and higher recurrence risks, with an overall complication rate of 8.7%. This safe, minimally invasive approach offers a practical treatment option for grade II-III internal hemorrhoids; tailored protocols and closer follow-up may be needed for grade III patients. |
