| Core Tip |
This revision independently reconstructs the retained regional analyses from the supplied Global Burden of Disease 2023 exports. It replaces ordinary confidence intervals with autocorrelation-aware intervals, examines a 2020 level shift, and evaluates newly fitted rate models against simple benchmarks. South Asia has the largest counts, North Africa and Middle East the highest standardized rates, and Southeast Asia the largest estimated trend slopes. Unsupported country, Socio-demographic Index, and inequality results and all original 2050 forecasts have been removed. Forecast uncertainty and benchmark performance require cautious interpretation. |
