| Core Tip |
This study systematically evaluated the clinical and biological significance of ITGA11 in gastric cancer (GC). High ITGA11 expression was associated with a poorer prognosis and was closely linked to extracellular matrix remodeling, the immune microenvironment, and resistance-associated molecular features. Structure-based virtual screening further identified Bemcentinib, LY-2090314, and Silydianin as candidate compounds with predicted binding potential toward ITGA11, thereby providing additional avenues for investigating ITGA11 as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in GC. However, the underlying mechanisms and the ITGA11-targeting activity of these candidate compounds warrant experimental validation. |
