Core Tip The study explores the metabolic changes associated with the eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in H. pylori-positive chronic gastritis and accentuates the potential use of urinary metabolites as biomarkers for early prognosis and treatment potency. However, certain limitations such as a restricted sample size, short treatment duration, and treatment homogeneity reduce the potency of the study. It calls for a more extensive and standardized investigation.
