Core Tip Beyond the biological diversity of stem cell transplantation for spinal cord injury are the technical considerations in designing clinical treatment paradigms. Data so far suggests that time from injury to treatment, the duration and chronicity of treatment and the actual method for delivery of cells are important considerations. This evidence seems to suggest that longer treatment paradigms soon after injury may be most beneficial.
