| Core Tip |
This study explores the effects of exosomes (Exos) obtained from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and MSCs derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iMSCs) on pancreatic and triple-negative breast cancer cells. iMSC-derived Exos exhibited a stronger and sustained anti-proliferative effect by inducing a senescence-like state without apoptosis. In contrast, bone marrow MSC-derived Exos showed variable effects depending on cancer type. These findings highlight the importance of Exos source in determining therapeutic outcomes and suggest senescence induction as a key response to Exos exposure. |
