Core Tip Inflammation plays an important role in the occurrence and development of tumor. Recently, many retrospective studies have reported the significance of the fibrinogen-to-albumin ratio (FAR) in the prognosis of patients with malignant tumors, but there have been no reports of patients with resectable pancreatic cancer. We studied 282 patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) who underwent radical R0 resection, and we found that the preoperative FAR is an easily available, cost-effectiveness and noninvasive prognostic indicator for PDAC patients undergoing radical R0 resection.
