Core Tip The gastro-intestinal manifestations of coronavirus disease 2019 infection are being increasingly recognized. A variety of imaging features can be encountered, either due to direct infection by the virus or as a result of viral-mediated cytotoxicity and tissue damage. Imaging can play a key role in the early recognition of gastro-intestinal tract involvement and its potentially fatal complications.
